Frequently Asked Questions
Why is an over chair table for elderly users safer than a standard TV tray?
Standard TV trays require you to lift them or awkwardly slide out from under them to stand up, which easily leads to spills and falls. A 360 swivel table simply pivots out of your way with a gentle push, ensuring your walking path is completely clear before you stand.
Will the base fit under my recliner or couch?
Yes, the low-profile base is designed to slide under most standard couches and recliners, helping keep the table securely anchored while staying out of your foot space. Please note: it will not fit properly under lift chairs or recliners with a round base.
Can I use this independence tray table on the left or right side of my chair?
Absolutely. The base and tray can be positioned on whichever side of your furniture is most convenient for your living room layout and personal mobility needs.
Is this eating tray for elderly users strong enough to hold a laptop?
Yes. The sturdy metal frame and reinforced tray top provide a wobble-free surface perfectly suited for holding heavy meals, laptops, books, and crafting supplies.
Does the tray tilt, or does it remain flat?
This specific model features a secure, permanently flat surface designed to prevent drinks, soups, and meals from sliding off into your lap, making it the safest eating tray for elderly users.
How do I adjust the height of the tray?
The vertical support column features a simple adjustment mechanism, allowing you to raise or lower the tray to perfectly align with your specific chair height and body type.
Will the base scratch my hardwood floors?
No. The bottom of the base is designed to be floor-friendly. It rests flat against the ground without sharp edges that could scratch hardwood or snag on plush carpets.

Perfect little table for my chair. Sturdy, well made, and the adjustable height lets me use it for meals or my tablet. It moves close and glides away easily.
Betty S.5/5Verified
Sturdy and nice looking. It slides under the recliner for extra stability so it never tips. Easy to adjust the height and roll close when I need it.
Raymond F.5/5Verified
Bought this for my aging father and it's been perfect. Well made and stable, it swivels all the way around so he can use it as a side table, then bring it right up to eat.
Stephen C.5/5Verified
This swivel tray table was worth every penny. It's sturdy and well built, and the height adjusts easily to right where I need it. It swings in close at meal time and slides away when I'm done.
Carol M.5/5Verified
Simple to assemble and very stable once set up. The 360 swivel is handy for both eating and working, and it tucks away neatly when I'm finished.
Larry N.5/5Verified
Well built and worth the money. I bought it as a gift for my mother and she uses it every day. It's stable, adjusts easily, and swivels right out of the way.
Charles W.5/5Verified
Love that it swivels and sits at just the right height. The stand-assist handle helps me get up out of my recliner, which was a nice surprise. Very well built.
Margaret H.5/5Verified
Great value for how solid it is. The tray is large enough for a laptop and a plate, and the height locks securely in place. I wish I'd bought it sooner.
Judith A.5/5Verified
Very solid with great stability. The position options are what sold me. It doesn't wobble when I lean on it, and it looks nice sitting next to my chair too.
Donald R.5/5Verified
Extremely well packaged and high quality. The directions were clear and it went together in minutes. I'm so happy with it that I ordered a second one.
Linda P.5/5Verified
Its perfect for her. She kept tripping over the t.V.Tray, we had in front of the chair, even stubbed her toe and had to go get first aide at one point. The bar helps her to stand also. I'm just afraid she's gonna use the tray as a support and i'm not sure if it's sturdy enough for that. Otherwise so far so good. Check back in a few weeks.
Vicki C.5/5Verified
The arm needs an attachment to prevent it from swiveling too far after 180 degrees it becomes unstable.
Sylvester M.4/5Verified
Works great!
Wilbur L.5/5Verified
A very well manufactured chair table. Screws mach the threads, are well aligned so when you insert the screw, it can be screwed-in without dificulties. Table has solid base so it is very stable. The idea o adding a handle was genial! It helps people in armchair to get-up.
Very satisfied with the product.
Nicholas A.5/5Verified
Just couldn't figure out the functionality of the screw knob. It was in the way so i simply removed it.
Anthony L.5/5Verified
Absolutely love this table. It is so solid and holds the food I put on it. It turns 360 degrees which is very convenient.
Cheryl M.5/5Verified
I wish the tray was a bit sturdier, but I believe it will work pretty well.
Cynthia S.4/5Verified
My wife is disabled and this table has made a difference into her day to day life.
James C.5/5Verified
Great table for when sitting long periods of time how east it is to move to the side and back again. Just what I needed,
Cathleen J.5/5Verified
I can’t figure out how to make it work with the furniture I have.
Frances M.2/5Verified
This is a well built, sturdy item. However, it’s not for everyone. I looked at the picture and thought that the visible support as pictured was the entire support unit. That it would go either next to my recliner as pictured, or next to my bed. Wrong on both counts. Once you go through the full link it says not next to recliners or beds. I would have to pay postage to return it. The link does a poor job of educating, The instructions show a cut out in the base where the legs of a chair can be placed. There are no cut outs. We assembled the unit. Put it near my bed. The tray arm swings easily. My adjustable bed is too high . Having the unit and swinging the tray arm around should give me access to an eating and working surface beside the bed. I’m also going to try it next to my recliner unit , with the support for the tray base/grip to aid me beside my chair rather than depending on my grandchildren to help me. It says the tray can hold 33lbs. I wish that it was larger.
BTW, if you are looking to make improvements, may I suggest, having the tray arm swing down from serving position to flush to the vertical support?. That would allow room for your legs to exit and enable one to reach the support for stability to stand. If the tray had a tilt feature might be helpful as well.

This is a high-quality very flexible device. My husband had a stroke and has very little ability to use his right side. This has provided two very beneficial solutions. It gives him a place to hold on as he’s getting up and getting down and it is very secure. It also gives him the ability to eat and drink without worry of spilling. We are so glad we got this device for him and will be using it for a long time.
Susan M.5/5Verified
It works great!
Stacey H.5/5Verified
This gem came in so handy when I was laid up on the couch for 8 weeks unable to bear weight. It made it easy to eat, stay up on emails and bills and just all around made my life easier and more manageable.
It does have a drawback it is a bit of a challenge to get it weighed down on couches that are powered it took a little bit of finagling though we got it to work.
Bridgett S.5/5Verified
Would like to try to telescope in and out
Gerald K.4/5Verified
The tray should have a locking devise so it stays in place instead of swinging around.
Michael B.3/5Verified
Excellent product and great purchase experience!
Fred M.5/5Verified
Just perfect for my needs!
Patricia K.5/5Verified
It doesn't work well with my lift chair. I wanted it to be for the middle on the side so I could lift my feet up.
But it works also the way your photo shows.
Lil K.3/5Verified
It’s very nice , base is heavy, easy to assemble and the swivel table is fabulous
Richard D.5/5Verified
High quality, sturdy, and easy to assemble!
Margaret S.5/5Verified
I ordered this swivel table for my cousin who would benefits from it. She just passed away. The box was never opened
Julie S.1/5Verified
The peeling table arrived well packed and timely. It is easy to assemble and very sturdy. The 360 degree table moves easily . The handle is a real help for my husband who has Parkinson’s . It is well designed . We couldn’t be more pleased!
Gail T.5/5Verified
Cannot anchor it for stability. All my chairs are on swivel platforms. Didn’t know this requirement prior to purchasing it.
Celia L.2/5Verified
It’s very well made, sturdy and high quality. I would recommend designing the tray so the lock dial on the support strut can be rotated to a position away from the chair or couch when being assembled. It gets in the way of the furniture’s side panel when it is reclined. Also, buyers should measure the distance between the outside of their furniture and the the furniture’s interior foot on some recliners. My mom’s recliner sofa foot is too far inside to sit securely on the Pelegon table base, so we had to make some modifications.
William W.4/5Verified
It was very helpful. My husband loves it and really helps.
Francine D.5/5Verified
I’d like to return this. It doesn’t work with my recliner. When placed the chair sits at an angle and not straight.
Cindy I.1/5Verified
I haven't installed it yet
Johnny K.5/5Verified
This table is awkward and difficult to use.
Brown C.1/5Verified
We have a reclining sofa and I took a chance ordering it. It turned out we couldn’t use it in the front to back alignment of the base. Our son lifted the end of the sofa and we have the base going right to left with the grab bar to the left side of the seat but the grab bar handle go front to back. My husband actually prefers that as it’s easier to grab being that he can’t lift his arms above his lower chest. The only thing we don’t like is far apart the holes are to adjust the height of the rotating table. If we have it low enough for my husband to lift things off the table, the table support is resting on his thighs. If we move up the table to the next set of holes to get it off his legs, then it is too high for his arms. We wish that there was less space between the holes so the height could be more fine tuned. Just a half inch to 3/4 of an inch adjustment would make a world of difference and comfort for my husband.
