Easy to assemble - gives great support and stability - This cane comes in three sections and goes together easily. It has 11 height adjustments. The 4 feet on the bottom give more stability than a single tipped cane. There is a wrist strap just below the hand grip to help hold the cane on the wrist. This configuration takes some getting used to if you're used to a single end cane. This is built to be used straight up and down where a single end cane can be used at an angle. The age and mental capacity of the user is the biggest factor in the learning curve. My 95-year-old mother is too used to her single cane to make the switch.

Light Yet Sturdy Quad Cane - This Pelegon cane comes packaged in a white and blue box. The parts are wrapped in clear plastic wrap and foam to protect and separate them. There is a quality instruction book which you don't always get with these types of products which was nice. It was very easy to put together and only took a few minutes. It stands on it's own so you don't have to worry about it falling down, hitting someone, or breaking something. The hand grip is nice and cushiony. There is a wrist strap to keep it secured to you. It's adjustable for different heights. My husband is modeling in the 1 pic and he is 6'1" and it's on the next to last level. I like that it's lightweight yet strong, supporting up to 300 lbs. We like quad walking canes for their stability and this one is a prime example of that. This is replacing an older quad cane that my elderly father who lives with us takes to dialysis. This is a very well made cane that seems like it would last for a long time. I would highly recommend it.

Seems good and sturdy - We needed a good sturdy walking cane for my brother. He says this gives him more support and confidence than the plain cane he had been using. He also likes he can set it beside him and it doesn't slip around or drop to the floor, but stays where he needs it. We do recommend it.

Helps keep his balance - This cane is exactly what my 66yr old husband needed to help keep his balance after his foot surgery. He is currently practicing how to move around before the surgery date. So when he gets his boot he will use the cane along with it. It was very easy to put together and the instructions show how to use it depending on the foot that need help. I am very happy with the good grip that is on the cane as well as the strap so it can stay around his wrist while navigating around.

Safest & most stable walking cane I have found - Having tried several different cane styles, I have learned that different situations call for different styles of canes. Of course, personal preference plays a part too. There are times when I feel stronger and am able to get by without using a cane at all. Sometimes I need just a little help with balance so all I need is a simple walking stick to steady me. There are other times when I need all the help I can get just to walk safely when doing daily activities. This quad cane is my new go to on those painful & difficult days. At first I thought the 4 feet might get in my way, but since this cane is easily adjustable to use in the left or right hand, the feet don’t stick out too far at all as long as I have it adjusted properly. You just have to loosen the round ring near the bottom and turn the handle bit so that the 2 feet closest to your legs are also closer to the vertical cane cylinder, which makes the other 2 feet that stick out further to the outside. In other words, if the cane is in your right hand, the 2 legs that are farthest to the right are facing away from your right leg. This keeps the 2 inside legs from getting in your way while walking. Once the handle is properly orientated, just tighten the ring back and you are all set. The quad design makes it much easier to balance, whether on a smooth surface, or on uneven ground. The feet have really grippy rubber tips that grab the walking surface effectively so you don’t slip. An added bonus is that the quad design stands up by itself so you aren’t constantly knocking it over or dropping it when you are stationary. It is really lightweight, too, so it doesn’t fatigue you easily. The height is adjustable from 29.5” to 38.5” so I can let it down easily to a comfortable height for my 5 foot frame. This cane makes me feel really secure and steady when walking with it.

Adjustable walking cane - This is a really good walking cane. It is very sturdy and I really like that you can adjust the height easily and it locks in securely. I also like the 4, padded feet on the bottom of the cane that give it extra support. It is a great value.

Quad Cane (300 lb)

it adjusted to the correct hight for my wife but she said she wanted to use her hurrycane better because the four legs weigh a lot to her.

Quad Cane with 4 Prong Base (300lb Capacity)

I had been using a single point cane, for the last three years. When my new cane arrived, a week ago, I have used the "four prong" exclusively. It is a heavier instrument however it is more stable, I feel I am better balanced and feel more stable. I use it for getting out of chairs and standing. I thought I had ordered the two-handle version, which I believe would have better assisted me in sitting and, probably stand, as well. I am still in the process of evaluating your product. At this point in time, I have found nothing that would make me regret the purpose.

Quad Cane with 4 Prong Base (300lb Capacity)

Curious what happened to the toilet or stool/chair handle, but otherwise once I get a little more used to it, I think things will be fine....

Quad Cane with 4 Prong Base (300lb Capacity)

This has been invaluable since my surgery and having to learn to walk again. I love the color and it's made daily movement a bit easier. I still use it now occasionally when I'm having a particular tough time with walking.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the main advantage of a quad cane over a standard cane?

A standard single-point cane offers minimal balance support. A 4 prong cane has a wide base with four distinct points of floor contact, allowing it to bear much more of your body weight while providing superior stability on uneven surfaces.

Do quad walking canes stand up on their own?

Yes! One of the biggest benefits of a four-point base is that the cane stands perfectly upright when you let go of it. You won't ever have to lean it against a wall or dangerously bend over to pick it up off the floor.

Which side of my body should I hold the quad cane on?

You should always hold the cane on your "good" or stronger side. When you step forward with your weak or painful leg, you bring the cane forward at the same time to share the load.

Is the 4 prong base reversible for left and right-handed users?

Yes. The base can easily be rotated so that the flat side sits flush against your leg, preventing you from tripping over the legs regardless of whether you use it in your right or left hand.

How much weight can this cane support?

Our heavy-duty quad cane is lab-tested and constructed with reinforced aluminum to safely and securely support up to 300 lbs.

How do I know the correct height for my cane?

Stand up straight with your arms resting naturally at your sides. The top of the cane's handle should line up exactly with the crease of your wrist. You can easily adjust the height using the tool-free push button on the shaft.

Can I use this cane to walk up and down stairs?

Yes. A 4 prong cane is excellent for stairs because the wide base provides a stable platform on the tread. Just be sure all four rubber tips are firmly planted on the step before shifting your weight.
