The rail itself is easy to put together. I love that it's "no tools" assembly. If I can do it - frankly anyone can. I would suggested getting help with the straps that make the rail safe and non-moving or slipping. I didn't have help available. It is a little difficult for one woman almost 70 yrs old with sore knees. BUT, it IS do-able. I got it done. Now my husband will have the help he needs to get in & out of bed. The rail provides the support he needs at this time. I would recommend it highly
I purchased this for my husband as he has trouble walking and getting out of bed. He is getting neck surgery soon so this will help him get up and stand. This was the sturdiest I could find with the strap for the mattress. He thinks the strap could be wider (it’s an inch wide) perhaps 2-2 1/2”.

Great addition for mobility assistance - My husband had major surgery on his leg which meant he cannot get out of or into the bed on his own. This bed rail allows him to sit up and swing over and out of the bed and vice versa. It is very sturdy. He also likes all the storage on the hand rail though has not used the storage compartments as of yet. It was very easy to install. The longest part was taking it out of the box and reading instructions. A one person job though two people make it easier. Happy to have this railing.
easy to install and convenient - The PELEGON Bed Rails provide an easy to install bed rail solution, assembly and installation is easy.Beware that the mattress must be thick enough to hold the rail since it fits under it, so if you have a slim mattress it might not be sturdy, I installed on a queen mattress with no issues at all.
Looks nice, the bag is durable, but installation need a little tweaking from instructions. - It was so easy to assemble, a caveman could do it, however the strap instructions may need to be adjusted to suit your needs. The instructions show to pull the strap under and loop around and up from the opposite side, however, it was not secure that way and was too long, but that's ok because we made it work. It had to be long enough to accomodate larger beds. This is a queen.So we looped it from under the side of the bed the rail was on, and brought it to the other side and to the top to snap together. The bed is one of those that lifts head and feet with a remote. If you get one, you want will need to put it above the bend in the bed when installing.The last bed rail had feet that touched the floor and I was worried this was not going to be as steady, but it is.I really liked the quality of the bag. It's durable and the fabric is thick. It comes with a white strap that has the brand name on it. It's basically like slap bracelet you put on the rail and it's supposed to glow in the dark. It really doesn't serve much of a purpose.The strap being sewn on the bars making things a little more difficult for the installation is the only part that was difficult. I wish it was not sewn in place and gave us more flexibility, but I'm not in the business of designing bed rails. Maybe they have a purpose.Overall it's good quality and firm in place and does the job.
Amazing product! - I have fibromyalgia and neuropathy in my arms, so existing is kinda hard. This makes getting out of bed so easily and holds my weight really well. It was easy enough for me to install by myself in a messy room. I'm not afraid of it giving out or falling apart while I use it, very sturdy. I have it on the higher setting and that height works well for me and it's easy to adjust. The size is great, not too big but not small enough that it doesn't do what it needs to be. Great value overall.

This rail is small enough that it helps maintain independence with transfers without making the person using it feel like they have lost their independence. The pockets are very useful in storing those must have things within reach.
I have one one each side of my bed. I toss and turn a lot and these bars are very handy for me.
It doesn’t work with my Sleep Number bed and I need to know how to send it back. I can’t use this cause the bar that lifts my mattress up and down on my Sleep Number bed. Yeah it gets in the way of the bed railing and I’ve tried to push the bed railing all the way to the head of the bed, which is not where I need it. I need it on the side of the bed so I can get up and out of the bed I’ve fallen out of the bed Twice This yeah this bed is not working so I need to know how to send it back please thank you Vicki Toney and also I rather review reviews in one person said it did work with your Sleep Number bed. That’s why I bought it but no, it does not work with Sleep Number beds

The pelegoa bed assist rail didn’t work for my bed..my mattress was too thick for the rail. It was too low for my husband to grab. But I will say that it is A very sturdy rail if the mattress was smaller. I will be returning it. Thank you
Unfortunately I was not able to utilize it as the person who it was intended did not use it. The company could not have it returned but they will reimburse me anyways, which is generous and I am so happy. Thank you for this consideration. I would always consider using this company

The test will be if it holds up to my using it. I don't need a safety bar, but I do need something to grab when I want to roll over in bed. For that it seems to be oaky. Time will tell.

Very sturdy, easy to assemble
My husband occasionally has nightmares and falls out of bed. He recently had major surgery for PAD and if he falls, there is a chance he can destroy that surgery. This railing is perfect as it prevents him from falling, but he can get in and out of bed easily when he needs to. Also he can store books and some meds in it for easy access
