I love the idea of the holder, the spots for the phone and drinks. I have it on my Pellegon Rollator and use it daily. However I think the design can use some improvement. The major issue is that the only way I can use it is to place it on the side. This makes the Rollator much wider and it is hard to fit it through the doorway. So currently I have the cup holder facing inside, so I can easily get through doorways. Using it in this position I cannot sit down on the rollator. Since I only use this as an inside Rollator this isn’t as much of an issue. I would like to see the attachment mechanism made so I could attach it toward the back so it would not add width and the cup would not be blocked by the handbrake.
The drink holder broke off from the clip that attaches to the walker after one day. Also the cell phone did not fit in cell phone holder. The plastic very brittle not durable for what its made for.
The cup and phone holder work well for my wife, and she uses it constantly while moving about the house. The only drawback, is that it projects out too far, where she catches it on walls, doorways, etc. The solution has been to rotate it inward, where it restricts the seating. Since this walker stays inside the house, that hasn’t been a problem. Her other Pelegon walker is in the car, for use when I take her places. We have not installed a cup/phone holder on it because of the need to fold it and pack it away.
It frees my hands while I am walking. Then it is right there when I need a drink. Unfortunately my case for .my phone is too large for the holder but I CA n put it in the bag. Great!
