Practical shower chair I ordered the PELEGON Shower Chair for post knee surgery. I needed to be able to sit in a very small shower. The chair was easy to assemble. I like that they include extras of all the screws. The instructions are very simple to follow. I really like that the stool height is adjustable. It is also easy to keep clean. Solid Foot surgery means bathing is way more complicated than it used to be. I was a bit nervous it would be too wide so we made sure to measure the inside of the tub first. Luckily the tub is maybe 22 inches wide while the stool is a bit over 17 inches. It was a bit hard to fully tighten the screws so I covered the screws a bit to soften the stress on my fingers. The cushion is adhesive so it won't slip off at least. My brother is saying he wants to steal this stool so he can use it in the shower to clean his feet instead of standing on one leg. The stool on it's shortest setting is still taller than the side of the tub, but not terribly tall. Overall it's a relief to have something to make bathing/showering safer.

Assembly a cinch; comes in 10 pieces; functional in shower or bath; 19” at its tallest There are 10 pieces that have to be put together--not counting the bolts and washers of which they provide one extra. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble and assembly was a cinch. The leg extensions just clip in and this chair has no back support or arms to install.The end result is a nice shower chair with hand holds in the seat. There are only three adjustment levels and it's 19" at its tallest point to the dip in the center of the seat. I do wish it had two to four more inches in height, however. This is rated for up to 350 pounds.This fits perfectly in my shower and bathtub and it works as designed. The rubberized feet grip the bottom of the shower for a secure grip but it does not suction itself to the base of the tub/shower. The chair is lightweight and easy to carry around.In summary, this is a simple shower chair that works as designed. Assembly was super easy as long as I followed the instructions. I love that this is adjustable for various height requirements but wish there were more adjustment levels and that the highest level was taller than 19". At its lowest setting it can almost be used as a footrest. The current price of $35.97 ($39.97 minus 10%) is competitively priced for this.

Assembly is a breeze thanks to great directions and the chair is super stable This is a very nice shower chair, it has very sturdy legs and cross-bracing to make it stable when there is a lot of weight on it. The directions are very easy to follow, and you can assemble it in about 10 minutes or less without tools.The rest of the details are in the video, but this is one of the nicest shower chairs I have seen. The only downside I can find is that the chair has no arms or backrest, so it may not be for everyone, but on the other hand, the lack of arms and backrest make it take up a lot less room in the shower.

A Sturdy Shower Stool For A Resonable Price From Pelegon... This Pelegon Shower Stool came very well packaged against any possible scratches or dings that could have happened with inferior packaging also it was quick and easy to assemble in less than 15 minutes with the included screws and washers. Actually the only thing I would take issue with is that they labeled it in their listing as a Shower Chair, to me a chair is only a chair if it has a backrest and many times a set of armrests but I would be nit picking if I considered that as a legitimate complaint.This shower stool as I mentioned in my Review Title was very sturdy and much of the sturdiness can be attributed to their Crossbar Design just beneath the seat which allows it to have a maximum weight capacity of 350 lbs.. I also appreciated that the seat has a cushion pad with drainage holes to match the drainage holes in their plastic seat and the fact that the seat has a nice, comfortable curvature upon which to sit. It has grip handles on each side of the seat for your stability, non-slip rubber tips on the bottom of each leg and has a height range of 16 to 18 inches from the floor of the tub or shower stall to the top of the seat.I found this Pelegon Shower Chair very easy to recommend and easily giving it an Overall Rating of 5 Stars due to its' reasonable price, enhanced stability, easy assembly and the security it offers you or your loved one while bathing!

Seems Sturdy, Easy to Assemble Assembly was easy—great directions (even to the point of having things labeled “A”, “B” etc. on the actual seat and bars). We have tried several different styles of shower chairs and I think this one seems the sturdiest design with the legs going straight down (instead of at an angle) and the cross bars keeping things locked. I liked that the screws had the twisty heads, which meant I was able to put it together without any tools. At the highest setting, this is about 18 inches tall and the seat is about 17 inches wide. This is made in China.

Easy to assemble and very strong This stool was very easy to assemble and it has pictured directions enclosed. I love the screw in bolts that have easy to tighten tops attached to each one. This makes it easy for anyone to assemble and I didn't need any tools to assemble this which was even better! The seat is strong and the legs are sturdy. I liked that this had handles on either side built into the seat so I can move it in the shower as needed. This comes with a grip sticker you can apply to the seat where you sit down and it is a a medium charcoal gray/blue. I chose to not attach this which just leaves the seat white (like the bottom you see in my pictures) since my shower is white and I don't have gray in my color scheme. I loved that this stool has three different heights and this is also easy to move by pressing in a small metal button and sliding the leg up or down until it clicks. Super nice for anyone unsteady in the shower and needing a seat. Or this can be used by anyone for propping up your leg for shaving, even if you don't need a seat. It is easy material to clean and I usually scrub it clean with clorox cleaners or my regular bathroom shower cleaner while I'm cleaning my shower. Great Gift for someone elderly I think!

Easy assembly My cost of the product is the income tax on its value, due to the VINE program. The chair of course needs to be assembled. For me about 15 minutes. If you have somebody who can do the assemble for you or you don't have any large disability, then it should be no problem to assemble it. It has some of the best instructions yet on how to make sure that you put the items in the right place so that it comes together easily. I especially like the bolt system that you can see in the picture. There's no need for nuts since all of the other items have the nut component built into them. This makes it pretty simple to assemble and sturdy. I can't really test if it can hold 350 lb, but it seems pretty sturdy to me and a nice addition to a shower where someone cannot stand for long. The feet have a nice grip so I don't have to worry about it moving during the shower. Once you no longer need a place to sit, it's actually handy since now you have something where you can put things so you don't have to reach down to the floor. Finally, it's height adjustable over several inches so you can size it to fit you.

Easy to adjust, nice compact fit When I first unpacked the box, the number of parts looked a bit daunting, but once I got started it didn't take that long. LBefore you start throwing parts together, read the instructions. There are three different sizes of adjustment screws, and you will end up with one spare of each size screw when you're done. Pay attention to the store in the base of the seat, not to be confused with the similar recycling logo on the opposite side.This chair fit in the tub easily. It doesn't have a back, so it's lightweight and easy to move. The rubber feet give a good grip without damaging the finish on the tub. The optional rubber pad adds some grip to the seat. This is surprisingly sturdy and works well.
